Thalapathy 62 while music director Ar rahman

It's official, 'Isai Puyal' AR Rahman is on board for Thalapathy 62. For the last few weeks, AR Rahman and director Murugadoss had a series of discussions and the big news is that the Academy Award-winning music composer signed on the dotted line.

There was a confusion among Vijay fans on the confirmation of AR Rahman in the film but now, they are happy that the hit Mersal combo is back.

The other important members of Thalapathy 62's technical team are cinematographer Girish Gangadharan of Kali fame, multiple award winning Editor Sreekar Prasad and art director Santhanam. Murugadoss is currently busy finalizing the female lead and the rest of the cast.

To be produced by Sun Pictures, the film will go on floors in February.
